Jonathan is an Architect and Urban Designer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Educated in Botswana and the United Kingdom and shaped by a multi-racial and multi-cultural family background, Jonathan is passionate about the power of architecture and design to improve quality of life, to unlock opportunity, to enlarge our horizons, to celebrate our diverse cultural identity, and ultimately to transform our society. During his professional career, Jonathan has had the privilege to be involved in numerous challenging and ground- breaking projects. These include Constitution Hill and the New Constitutional Court of South Africa earlier in his career, Rea Vaya Bus Rapid Transit and more recently O.R. Tambo International Airport. He has participated in SACAP Visiting Boards to a number of South African universities and has also acted as an external examiner. Two of his written works on identity and architecture have been published.
